Quality Assurance Specialist

MUST HAVE:

  • OVER 5 YEARS'  Selenium and MS Dynamics 365 experience that will help to automate moving from the AX system from 2012 into the new MS Dynamics 365.
  • OVER 5 YEARS' experience in Test Automation.
  • EXTENSIVE Cloud experience.



Looking for people with a Secret clearance and any Selenium experience that will help to automate moving from the AX system from 2012 into the new MS Dynamics 365.

Statement of Work
General
Ensure appropriate security, confidentiality, regulations, information safeguarding practices and delivery of confidential information is adhered to at all times during the course of work.
 
Category Specific:
  • Lead development of test plans, test scenarios, test scripts and test data;
  • Participate in functional and technical design reviews, perform integration/functional and system testing, and verify test results;
  • Supervise testing in accordance with established plans;
  • Provide management and monitoring of test plans for all levels of testing (including but not limited to unit test, integration testing and regression testing with emphasis on automating the testing procedures);
  • Establish and operate "interoperability" testing procedures to ensure that the interaction and co-existence of various software elements, which are proposed to be distributed on the common infrastructure, conform to appropriate departmental standards (e.g. For performance, compatibility, etc.) and have no unforeseen detrimental effects on the shared infrastructure;
  • Establish a validation and verification capability which assumes functional and performance compliance;
  • Provide management of walkthroughs and reviews related to testing and implementation readiness;
  • Test Status reporting;
  • Identify and document defects;
  • Participate with other project resources to resolve defects;
  • Perform regression testing of software applications;
  • Coach, mentor and train the organization to perform any of the above 
 
Specialties could include but are not limited to:
Software knowledge in MS Office, Process Mapping Software (e.g., MS Visio), SharePoint, Dynamics AX/D365 ERP, Azure DevOps, cloud application, Product Lifecycle Management software, MS Stack, Defect Management Software (e.g., Jira Footprints).
  • Knowledge/Experience with Agile/SCRUM and Waterfall SDLC methodologies
  • Back-End Infrastructure
 
Deliverables may include:
  • Provision of required documentation to perform the responsibilities listed above, such as test plans, scenarios, scripts and data, procedures, verification of results and reports as requested.
 
Location of Work and travel:
  • The resource must be available to work at Ottawa premises as required
  • Notwithstanding the above, there is no travel anticipated under any resulting contract
