Role: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Fredericton- New Brunswick- Remote
Key Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst supporting information systems specific to government service delivery agencies, such as SNB, SD, NBHC, etc.
- A minimum of 3 years of IM/IT experience on projects that involve data conversion and/or interface specifications between systems.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English.
- Experience performing Senior Business Analyst activities, such as facilitating workshops, capturing business/user requirements, process design activities, and IT solution implementations.
- Experience working with cross functional business and technical teams that include a mix of in-house and external stakeholders and vendors
- Experience with producing interface specifications used to communicate with external systems, such as Oracle Financials, financial institutions, or other government departments/corporations.
- Experience in migrating data from legacy IT systems. -Note: Higher scoring will be awarded to candidates with Cobol experience.
- Experience in any of the following:
- Working in the Housing sector and/or with housing management systems
- Delivery and management of financial systems including those involving small-to-large loans
- Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions
