Quality Analyst

Job Type: Contract
Primary Location: Hybrid Remote – Toronto, Ontario


Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled QA Analyst with a strong background in financial systems and onboarding processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of client onboarding processes, with a focus on testing, compliance, and regulatory adherence. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills:

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Conduct thorough testing of client onboarding processes, ensuring all systems and procedures meet quality standards.
  • Set up and test client accounts via Dataphile, BPS, or IFDS systems.
  • Process and verify KYC (Know Your Customer) changes for clients, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Ensure adherence to PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) rules during client onboarding.
  • Utilize DocuSign for electronic documentation and signature verification.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement QA best practices.
 
Technical Requirements:
 
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and tools, including defect management.
  • Familiarity with client account setup via Dataphile, BPS, or IFDS systems.
  • Experience with processing KYC changes and understanding related legislation.
  • Knowledge of PIPEDA regulations and their application in financial services.
 
Soft Skills:
 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Ability to work independently, managing time and priorities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about processes and outcomes.
