Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in automation testing and various test automation tools
- Strong experience with writing clean, maintainable code in Python to support test automation efforts, Selenium, and pytest for automated testing of web applications
- Expertise in Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) practices using tools like Cucumber
- Proven ability to build and maintain test frameworks from the ground up
- Perform regression testing and analysis to ensure system reliability and scalability
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman and Python Requests
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Excellent understanding of software quality assurance principles and practices
- Understanding of agile methodologies and practices (e.g. Zephyr, Jira)
- Self-learner, good communication, able to pick up other programming languages and test automation frameworks
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (GitHub Actions)
- Experience with generating test reports from the pytest framework (e.g. Allure Reports)
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques
